Dr. Kashyap graduated with his Medical Degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, in Bangalore, India in 2002. After obtaining his medical degree, he pursued further training in the United Kingdom where he trained in various programs in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine from 2004-2012. To fulfill his long-term career aspiration of being a Nephrologist he moved to the United States where he completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency with Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio; followed by Nephrology Fellowship at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Kashyap is certified in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. Nephrology is a specialty of medicine and pediatrics that concerns itself with the kidneys: the study of normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health, and the treatment of kidney disease, from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy (dialysis and kidney transplantation).
