TruNorth Counseling, PLLC - Vicki Iseler, MA, LPC, NCC - I am a child and family therapist who works with parents and children (13 years and older) coping with difficult situations and behaviors. I have experience working with children in schools, in their homes, and in an office environment helping parents, and children learn the skills they need to find the results they are looking for. If you are worried about a traumatic event that has happened to you or your child, and are wondering how you are going to move forward, I can help. As an experienced therapist who helps kids cope with depression, anxiety, and trauma, I provide a safe and supportive environment so you can learn the skills needed to cope with life challenges and events, as well as find healing.
Other times parents come to see me because there has been a change that has created tension or led to stress, worry, or behavioral issues. Whether transition to a new school, losing a loved one, or parents separating or divorcing, change is difficult. Having a support person in your life to help you or your child adjust to the new situation can make all the difference. People who meet me often find me warm and engaging. I like to incorporate various tools and strategies while working with kids including art and play therapy when it can help people express themselves and manage the big thoughts and feelings that come up when we are faced with life challenges.
