M. Nasar Qureshi, MD, PhD, FCAP, is a pathologist who diagnoses and treats patients as President and Medical Director of QDx Pathology Services, which he established in 2006. QDx Pathology Services is a national, independent, full-service anatomical, molecular, and clinical pathology laboratory in Edison, New Jersey. Furthermore, Dr. Qureshi is President of QDxAxis in Cranford, New Jersey, which is a unique integrated informatics platform designed by pathologists to meet the needs of any pathologist, from small independent laboratories to large academic centers. As a pathologist, he specializes in the study of the causes and effects of disease or injury. Dr. Qureshi’s professional journey spans twenty years and has expansive knowledge and unrivaled expertise in all facets of anatomic and clinical pathology. Throughout his career, he has served as principal investigator for several NIH-funded and institutional grants and has contributed to more than 50 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Qureshi is licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey, Wyoming, Indiana, Colorado, Utah, Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana.

Dr. Qureshi, a highly-trained pathologist, is the President and Medical Director of QDx Pathology Services. It is a national, independent, full-service anatomical, molecular, and clinical pathology laboratory in Cranford, New Jersey.
As a center of excellence in surgical pathology, QDx Pathology is staffed with board-certified pathologists who provide consultative services to physicians, medical centers, and hospitals. It has grown to command referrals from physicians nationwide – especially in the fields of gastrointestinal, urologic and gynecologic pathology – with a mission to deliver diagnostic excellence and precision accuracy.
Prior to founding QDx Pathology Services, Dr. Qureshi served on the staff of Christ Hospital, NJ; Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, NY; and Bayonne Hospital, NJ. His professional experience provided great insight into academic and community-based medicine, especially in the areas of clinical and anatomical pathology.
Born in Pakistan, the doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science degree from Dow Medical College in 1983. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his professional training at Tulane University School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and North Shore University Hospital.
While in medical training, Dr. Qureshi continued his passion for community involvement and social work by joining the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) and serving as the President of the New Jersey Chapter of APPNA and the Dow Medical Alumni Association. After serving in various roles for APPNA, he was selected as President of the organization for 2016.
A Fellow of the College of American Pathologists, he is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.
A recognized leader in the medical field for diagnostic excellence, Dr. Qureshi is the President of the American Pakistan Foundation. It is an organization dedicated to empowering the Pakistani American community and building bridges between the United States and Pakistan.
