Hi, I’m Sharon Nightengale, a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the proud owner of Uplift Mental Wellness, PLLC, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. With over 33 years of experience in nursing, I’m passionate about mental health and wellness. I completed my Post Master’s Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in May 2022, and I hold a Master’s in Nursing Education from William Carey University. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics, educational institutions, and surgical facilities. My experience ranges from pre-op/post-op nursing to teaching mental health nursing to aspiring professionals. I provide compassionate, personalized care, helping my patients reach their full potential and live their best lives.

I’m certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, staying active, and enjoying my role as a mother of four grown children and a grandmother to eight. I’m here to help you on your journey to better mental well-being—feel free to reach out!
