Katie Sliney is a highly skilled and dedicated dermatology physician assistant practicing at South County Dermatology in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. With a strong reputation for excellence in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Katie is known for her commitment to providing high-quality care and innovative solutions to her patients.

Specializing in cosmetic dermatology, Katie has a keen interest in neuromodulators such as Dysport, Botox, and Xeomin. Her expertise in these treatments enables her to help patients achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance with natural-looking results. Additionally, she excels in Collagen Induction Therapy using Skin Pen and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), offering cutting-edge solutions for skin rejuvenation and overall skin health.

Originally from Kentucky, Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. Her passion for dermatology blossomed while working in a busy dermatology practice in Lexington, after which she practiced internal medicine in South Carolina before relocating to Rhode Island. 

A member of prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (Diplomate Fellow), the New England Dermatologic Society, and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society, Katie actively contributes to the advancement of her field, regularly attending professional development courses and conferences.

As an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor for the Johnson & Wales University Center for Physician Assistant Studies, Katie is dedicated to educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Her dedication to patient education and empowerment is evident in her practice, as she takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options and skincare regimens, fostering a collaborative environment for achieving optimal skin health.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Katie finds joy in volunteering at her children’s schools, staying active with exercise and sports, cooking, crafting, and tending to her extensive gardens.
