Get to know Neurologist Dr. Farzin Benjamin Pedouim, who serves patients in California.

With more than a decade worth of diverse medical experience, Dr. Pedouim is a board-certified neurologist who serves patients at Movement Help with offices in Los Angeles and Huntington Beach, California. 

Movement Help is a premier movement disorder related facility where Dr. Pedouim works alongside a team of experienced medical experts who take a holistic approach to treating movement related disorders. Alongside his role as a health professional, Dr. Pedouim serves as a Clinical Professor of Neurology at Loma Linda University. His responsibilities include overlooking numerous clinical trials in essential tremor, Parkinson’s disease, Botox, dyskinesia, and other movement-related disorders.

Pertaining to his educational background, he completed his medical school with high honors and complete his internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, New York. This was followed by a residency in neurology at the University of California, Irvine and a fellowship in movement disorders at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California.

Following his education, the doctor became board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists. 

To boot, he is a member of several internationally recognized bodies, including the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, the International Association of Parkinsonism & Related Disorders, the American Academy of Neurology, and the North America Brain Injury Society.

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.
