Janae Carlson, APRN, AGNP-C, is a Board-certified adult gerontological nurse practitioner specializing in heart and vascular care. As an experienced clinician with extensive experience in cardiovascular health, she focuses on disease prevention and patient education. Janae earned both her bachelor’s and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Fort Hays State University. She joined AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, then called Shawnee Mission Health, in 2002.
When she's not in the office caring for patients, Janae enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and playing with her puppy, Molly. She and her family live in Lansing.
