Dr. Dudley-Robey, aka Doctor Bench, is a man of many titles. He is a licensed naturopathic doctor, expert in integrative medicine, an award-winning healthcare researcher, medical and nursing instructor, as well as an author and clinical reviewer for several publishers with a background beginning as a nurse and US Army medic. This ongoing journey has kept him involved in healthcare for over 30 years in one form or another.

Earning his medical degree, Doctor Bench was Valedictorian & PDE Class President of his medical school class. His postdoctoral training years included an internship in family medicine and a fellowship in pain management to his credit. Currently, he is back in training for physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Board-certified in naturopathic sports medicine, he is a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM). The AAIM promotes research in the integration of safe and effective medical treatment modalities. 

A polished speaker, Doctor Bench was one of the United States delegates to the OIUCM 42nd World Congress in Washington, DC first lecturing on hospital-based integrative medicine then serving on a speaker panel discussing Legal Implications in Practicing Integrative Medicine. He is credited with inventing and copyrighting the first computerized Director of Staff Development System in Healthcare. 

Since his final basketball season in the NBA Summer Pro League in 2002, Doctor Bench has been concentrating on competing in powerlifting. He is the former 2011 IPL World Champion in the 181lb / 82.5 kg open division, the 2008 GPC World Champion in the 165lb / 75 kg sub-master division, and the Bronze Medalist for the open division in the bench press.

To his credit also include a United States Presidential Champion, a five-time member of Team USA, and a 25 time record holder with state, national, international records in six different federations. On March 12, 2011, he became the first person in USPA history to hold records in the Raw, Single-Ply, and Multi-Ply divisions, all at the same time.

Doctor Bench was an advocate for the President’s council on physical fitness and nutrition. 

Animal welfare is a strong passion of his, having served as a national spokesperson for both Save A Dog and US War Dogs among his charitable endeavors.
