An exceptional podiatrist, Dr. Mudek is in practice at Gulf South Foot and Ankle, LLC, serving patients in Metairie, Covington, and Prairieville, Louisiana. She is passionate about the sports medicine aspect of podiatry. From prevention to surgery, she enjoys helping people stay active.
Gulf South Foot & Ankle, LLC is dedicated to providing the best possible podiatric care to their patients. They treat all foot and ankle related conditions including heel pain, bunions, hammertoes and ingrown toenails. In addition, they are committed to educating their patients so that they can take care of their feet.
A native of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Dr. Mudek earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida, and graduated with her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio.
She then joined the Army and completed her residency at both the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia and the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She served as the Chief of Podiatry Services at the Womack Army Medical Center as her last military assignment. In May of 2021, she retired from the military as a Major and joined Gulf South Foot and Ankle.
As a testament to her success, she is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABFAS), which offers a comprehensive certification process in podiatric medicine and orthopedics.
