Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Amber Majid Malik, who serves patients in Manteca, California.

Dr. Malik is an emergency physician who is trained to treat conditions such as life-threatening injuries, fractures, heart attack, poisonings, and burns. She examines patients, determines means of testing, diagnoses conditions, and decides the best treatment methods.

Her acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. She then went on to perform her residency in emergency medicine at the University of Michigan Health-West from 2018 until 2021, where she served as chief resident. 

Currently, Dr. Malik is affiliated with Doctors Hospital of Manteca, which has provided superb clinical care to patients in the Central Valley of California for over 50 years.

Among her professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the American Ostepation Association, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician is a physician who works at an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients. They care for unscheduled and undifferentiated patients of all ages.
