Get to know Aesthetic Medicine Specialist Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, who serves patients in Newport Beach and Fullerton, California. 

Dr. Armstrong is the Founder and CEO of Advanced Skincare Medcenter with locations in Newport Beach and Fullerton, California. At Advanced Skincare MedCenter, patients meet with internationally renowned plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and estheticians to develop customized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s specific issues and goals. Dr. Armstrong enjoys helping her patients achieve their aesthetic goals through the use of injectables, lasers, and other non-invasive treatments. She is gifted in giving them a “Life Lift” through the use of non-invasive resources from both Eastern and Western Medicine. 

After graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Georgetown University, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Biophysics and Physiology from the same educational venue. Thereafter, she received a scholarship to complete her medical education at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, followed by her residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles. 

Born with both a passion for the arts and sciences, Dr. Armstrong is naturally gifted in the field of aesthetic medicine and whole body care. In addition to having received two awards for sculpture, she has received two international awards in laser technology. 

A prolific researcher at heart, the doctor has published over 20 academic articles, written chapters of books on dermatology, and received grants for original research. What’s more, she has pioneered programs for homeless children, donated her time to underserved patients, and spoken at national and international conferences on laser advancements. 

Aesthetic medicine is an inclusive term for specialties that focus on improving cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Aesthetic medicine specialists may utilize both surgical and non-surgical procedures to improve cosmetic appearance, psychological well-being, as well as overall quality of life. 

A strong believer that prevention is the best medicine, Dr. Armstrong works with patients to achieve their health goals through an analysis of their lifestyle and vision of their future.
