Caring compassionate specialist. When my PCP referred me to a rheumatologist I was afraid. My PCP was the only doctor to truly listen and understand you just cannot treat lab results, you must listen to and treat the patient. Dr. Pugliese immediately calmed my fears. He was just as if not better than my PCP, he made me feel at ease, took the time to get to know me and my concerns. He is a truly caring and compassionate addition to my arthritis care. He is accessible, knowledgeable and compassionate. I couldn't ask for more. Knowing he is in my corner with my PCP, I know I am in good hands.
