Dr. Aaron Jones was born in Baltimore, MD, and raised in Iowa City, IA. He decided to become a dentist after completing many years of orthodontic treatment. It gave him such self-confidence that he wanted to help others feel the same way.
After graduating high school, Dr. Jones put his life on hold to volunteer for missionary service for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for two years in the American Southwest where he became fluent in Spanish. During his undergraduate studies, he married his wife, Rocio, and they now have 3 children. Dr. Jones went on to graduate from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and later obtained his DDS from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry. He really enjoys what he does and is excited to wake up and go to work everyday. He loves all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in Oral Surgery and Esthetics. He has participated with Iowa MOST, where he worked on a team of medical professionals to help correct cleft lips and palates of children in Guatemala. He also enjoys giving back to the community and helping where ever he can. In his free time, he enjoys working outside, playing with his children, home projects, and finding ways to help others.
