Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Rishi R. Patel, who serves patients throughout the State of Florida.

Dr. Patel is a double board-certified dermatologist who brings his expertise to Lotus Dermatology. With a focus on both adult and pediatric medical dermatology and dermatopathology, he has established himself as a trusted healthcare professional in the Spring Hill, Brooksville, and Homosassa regions of Florida. He has been serving the Tampa Bay area since 2015, providing exceptional care to his patients.

Throughout his academic career, he graduated with his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, and completed his residency in dermatology at the same educational venue. Eager to expand his knowledge and skills, he went on to complete a fellowship in dermatopathology at New York University. During his time at NYU, he had the privilege of serving on the faculty in the esteemed Department of Dermatology.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. He has also contributed to the field through more than 100 presentations and publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. His research has explored various aspects of dermatology, providing valuable insights to the medical community.
