Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Erin F. Dauterive, who serves patients in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Specializing in women’s reproductive health, Dr. Dauterive is a considerate and caring obstetrician-gynecologist. She practices out of Ochsner Health Center - O’Neal in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Dauterive graduated with her medical degree from the LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine in 2008, where she became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. She then went on to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. While in residency, she served as Co-Administrative Chief Resident her senior year, and received several awards including, “Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.”

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
