A board-certified oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Siegal sees patients at her private practice – LNC Oculoplastics – in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A native of New York City, she graduated cum laude from Skidmore College with concentrations in Neuroscience and French Literature, and she worked for a year after graduation at the Institut National de la Santé et Recherche Médicale (INSERM) in Paris. She went on to complete a combined MD/PhD program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the same institution. She then completed a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle.
An active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
Furthermore, Dr. Siegal has presented her research annually at national Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, and Oculoplastics meetings over the last 15 years. She has authored/co-authored over 30 abstracts and peer-reviewed publications and written several textbook chapters.
