Get to know Dentist Dr. Khadije Hussein, who serves patients in Dearborn, Michigan.

A committed dentist, Dr. Hussein sees patients at her private practice – Family Crown Dentistry – in Dearborn, Michigan. She is devoted to providing outstanding dental care to her patients and has traveled overseas to treat many underserved populations.

In regards to her educational background, she earned her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University. She served as a Professor of Biology at Baker College before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Dr Hussein had the privilege to attend the Invisalign Reingagecourse in Las Vegas which was taught by the top Invisalign speakers, Dr. Galler. She became member of the American Academy of clear aligners and top provider.

Dr. Hussein has spent time in Guadalajara Mexico doing implant surgery.  She became a fellow of the live implant training institute, trained by the world renowned Implantologist Dr. Virgil Mongalo, and Oral and Maxollofacial and Microvascular Surgeon by Dr. Carlos Roa.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Away from the office, Dr. Hussein always looks forward to spending time with her two daughters, Aya and Angela, and her son, Ahmad. She enjoys her yearly trips to Lebanon to hike and swim.
