About

Hi, I'm Krystal. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker inspired to motivate the journey of life. Allow me to introduce my philosophy as a therapist: exploration is essential as an ally, focusing on empowerment to reach your mission in life, and horizons are to broaden through various perspectives.

My professional background includes a BSW and MSW from UCF, and I'm a qualified supervisor for licensure. I have experience working with ages 3 to older adults with various presenting barriers such as addiction, anxiety, depression, anger management, domestic violence, and trauma, among many more. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.

My theoretical framework is cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused. The combination of these therapeutic styles allows for the more remarkable achievement of the goals you set out to accomplish during your time. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is a technique to address traumatic experiences and intense emotional reactions without even speaking about the event itself!

I love what I do and I am so privileged to live out my passion each day! Please reach out if you are interested, I can’t wait to get started!

  • What are CBT techniques for anxiety?

Hi! This is such a great question and so important to talk about! CBT is one of the top therapeutic techniques to address a holistic perspective and can absolutely help address and decrease anxiety. CBT is all about your thoughts, your feelings, to your actions. So a great specific CBT technique would be writing down your feelings and thoughts based on an event or incident that happens. Observe if your thoughts are based on feelings or facts, and then choose your action according to the facts of the situations versus your feelings. Ideally, working through these facts will help decrease anxiety to help ground our thoughts. I hope this helps and wish you the best! READ MORE
