I am sorry but the question is too broad as there are many types of psychiatric symptoms diagnosed as schizophrenia. Some have a good prognosis others find adequate treatment lacking in schizophrenia. However I believe almost all illnesses including those labeled schizophrenia to be treatable. This is an interesting question as there are very few who understand how cannabis molecules work in the body. However the use of this product if you found it once beneficial may be to stop. In the double blind placebo controlled clinical trials I conducted several antidepressants helped alleviate symptoms of anxiety. These include but are not limited to Paxil (paroxetine) and Effexor (venlafaxine). As do all psychotropics there are possible side effects and Effexor can be difficult to stop without the help of an experienced doctor.
