  • Can I lose weight while pregnant?

Your weight gain (or loss) goals in pregnancy are largely dictated by your starting weight and BMI. Women who are starting with a higher BMI may actually see weight loss in the beginning of pregnancy as they exercise and eat healthy. By the end of pregnancy, we like to see weight gain no matter your starting BMI. Ask your doctor about the recommended weight gain for your pregnancy! READ MORE

  • Can a woman get pregnant if she's had ovarian cysts?

Absolutely! Actually, every woman forms little cysts (or follicles) every month (fluid around the egg) that eventually rupture, leading to ovulation. Sometimes the follicle can fill back up with fluid or blood, leading to larger cysts - these are called functional cysts. Most cysts do resolve spontaneously, but some may need intervention. f you have questions about your specific situation, talk to your doctor! READ MORE
