Kourosh Ardekani, D.D.S, has been delivering quality, compassionate dental care to adults and children in the Washington, D.C., region since 2013. He opened DC Pearls Dental Boutique in 2017 with a vision of providing top-notch general dental services in a vibrant neighborhood that he loves.
A native of upstate New York, Dr. Ardekani received his doctor of dental surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. To ensure his patients receive the best possible care, he continues to expand his scope of practice with recent certifications in endodontics—procedures involving the soft inner tissue of the teeth—and cosmetic dentistry. He is a certified Invisalign® provider and completed a fellowship in implant dentistry in 2014 with the California Implant Institute in San Diego. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the District of Columbia Dental Society, and is licensed in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ardekani’s favorite part of dentistry is helping patients feel more confident in their smiles and empowering them to live healthier lives. He prides himself on empathy, carefully explaining to his patients each procedure and educating them on the mechanics and importance of oral health. His research interests include stress management techniques for patients with dental anxiety and the impact of certain medical procedures and medications on dental health.
