Get to know Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Ann Gaffka, who serves patients in Port Orange, Florida.

Ann, a certified advanced practice registered nurse, has been practicing internal medicine in Volusia County for over 20 years. She branched out into aesthetics in 2019, opening Breeze Aesthetics in Port Orange, Florida to help her patients look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside.

A Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-C) is a nurse who holds certification and has obtained at least a master’s degree in nursing. APRNs may work across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, ambulatory clinics or long-term care facilities. They provide medical support and preventative care to patients, along with additional responsibilities of coordinating patient care and using specialized knowledge to manage complex patient conditions. APRNs can diagnose and treat as well as order and interpret tests and prescribe medications.
