Dr. Joseph is a dual board certified emergency physician whose interests include education, pre-hospital research, and critical care resuscitation.
Currently, she is a part of Emergency Medical Associates, which provides emergency department management services to 22+ hospitals in New Jersey and New York. Her hospital affiliations include Community Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
Graduating Cum Laude from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Joseph received the Platinum TOUCH Award for Community Service. She then performed her emergency medicine training at Morristown Medical Center and went on to complete EMS and Disaster Medicine fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in both emergency medicine and emergency medical services through the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). The AOBEM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of acutely ill patients with advanced cardiac life support, trauma, and the management of other life-threatening medical issues (emergency physicians).
Dr. Joseph is the Founder and President of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of EMS Physicians and has served as Clerkship Director of the New Jersey EMS Fellowship. Additionally, she holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the Academy of Emergency Medical Services (FAEMS) and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP).
