Alongside her clinical role, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine.

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine offers women the latest advancements in assisted reproductive technologies, including IVF, as well as expert treatment of endocrine disorders and menopause-related health issues. Part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, it is advancing women’s health through excellence in clinical care, research, and education. 

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Schutt earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). She followed this up with a residency in obstetrics and gynecology with the University of Virginia Health System, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Baylor College of Medicine. 

Board-eligible in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, she is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Furthermore, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
