At Tyler Internal Medicine Associates, Kelly is making a significant impact on the healthcare landscape in Smith County and beyond. With a career spanning over a decade, he  has established himself as a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare provider, offering a wide range of medical services to his patients.

Academically, his educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master’s degree in Medicine Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his outstanding contributions, receiving accolades such as the Reserve Deputy Sheriff/SWAT Medic of the year in 2016 from the Smith County Sheriff.

Kelly’s journey in the medical field began in 2007, and since then, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in various healthcare settings. From working in a Level 1 Trauma center to providing urgent care, family practice, and serving as a Flight Nurse/Paramedic with a Helicopter EMS, he has continually demonstrated his commitment to delivering exceptional medical care.

Transitioning to full-time family practice in 2009, he has been an integral part of Tyler Internal Medicine Associates P.A. for over a decade, collaborating closely with Dr. Anthony Davis, MD. His dedication to his patients is matched only by his service to his community and country. Not only has he served with the Department of Homeland Security, but he has also been a Master Peace Officer and Tactical Paramedic/Deputy for the Smith County Sheriff’s Office for 16 years.

An active member of various professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Kelly continues to stay at the forefront of medical advancements. His commitment to giving back to the community is evident through his involvement with charitable organizations like Orphans Outreach, Hope Haven, and Feed the Children. His passion for healthcare is further reflected in his memberships in esteemed medical societies like the Special Operations Medical Association and the Texas NP Association.

Beyond his medical pursuits, he enjoys hobbies such as shooting, golf, and scuba diving.
