Dr. Hamlin is a dentist serving Virginia Beach and the surrounding communities at Cusp Dental Boutique. Cusp Dental Boutique opens in the fall of 2021.
Dentistry is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity, commonly in the dentition but also the oral mucosa, and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in the maxillofacial (jaw and facial) area.
Dr. Hamlin graduated from her fathers alma mater, Howard University College of Dentistry. She is currently President of the Tidewater Dental Association, on committees for the Virginia Dental Association, a volunteer and board member of the Chesapeake Care Clinic, and a VCU external affiliate instructor. She is also a member of the International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Hamlin is a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The AGD is the only professional association that exclusively represents the needs and interests of general dentists. As a general dentist, Dr. Hamlin enjoys being able to provide a large variety of treatment options for both all ages, including infants.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Hamlin enjoys learning about wines, spirits, and craft beers — having achieved WSET Level 1 certification.
