A devoted internist, Dr. Ahmad is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, seeing patients at their offices in Flushing, New York.

Graduating with her medical degree from the American University of Caribbean School of Medicine in 2018, Dr. Ahmad went on to further her training by completing her residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In order to remain up to date in her field, she is an active member of the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. Her research has been published in various medical journals, including Annals of Long-Term Care: Clinical Care and Aging.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in Internal Medicine are called Internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

Speaking multiple languages, Dr. Ahmad is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
