Born at Englewood Hospital and raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, Dr. Ferrauiola should have known she was destined for plastic surgery when she was six years old watching Dr. D’Amico sew up her 4-year-old sister’s facial laceration. She initially chose a different path and pursued private fine arts training in the visual art studio of Soyoo Park. She earned the NJ Governor of the Arts Scholarship and then worked in the fashion design and fine arts industry for several years before embracing her true calling to bettering human lives.
Pursuing her medical path, she graduated with her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then served a five-year residency in general surgery at Wright State University, and a residency in plastic surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. D’Amico has served as a mentor and exemplar throughout Dr. Ferrauiola’s medical training, and she looks forward to serving the cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgical needs of the community.
