Get to know Psychologist Dr. Ashley Turgeon Milspaw, who serves patients in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ashley Milspaw is a Psychologist in Camp Hill, PA with special training and skill in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders. As a Psychologist, Ashley Milspaw, PsyD performs mental health assessment and therapy.

Psychology is medical specialties focused on helping patients understand the causes of their mental health disorders so they can be treated with therapy or medication. 

Dr. Milspaw graduated with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, in Philadelphia, PA.  Her theoretical orientation consists of a complementary blend of psychodynamic and systems theories. 

Multicultural competence highly influences her clinical practice and case conceptualization. As a multi-cultural therapist, Dr. Milspaw has training and experience working with diverse populations. Her dissertation examined the use of humor across cultures with health professionals.

Dr. Milspaw conducts diagnostic evaluations and assessments for the Court. Dr. Milspaw believes that the proper diagnosis and identification of core issues is crucial to appropriate treatment. 

She also provides a variety of other clinical services, including psychotherapy, family therapy, parent coaching, therapeutic supervised visitation, and consultation for clinicians and attorneys.  Dr. Milspaw approaches her clients holistically, as a healthy mind, body, and relationships provide a secure foundation for mental health.

Dr. Milspaw is active in the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) and is on PPA’s Child Custody and Forensic Committees. She also sat on the Pennsylvania Taskforce on Supervised Visitation.

Her experience working with the forensic population includes conducting custody evaluations, risk assessments, drug and alcohol evaluations, co-parenting and court-ordered counseling.
