Dr. Rahul Kapil, MD, an esteemed pulmonologist, is a staff affiliate at Yale New Haven Health. As a valued member of Northeast Medical Group Pulmonary Medicine, he serves patients at the healthcare provider’s offices in Connecticut.

Dr. Kapil’s journey to becoming a skilled pulmonologist began with his education in India, where he obtained his Medical Degree from Kasturba Medical College in 2016. Eager to expand his medical expertise, he relocated to the United States to pursue further training. Dr. Kapil completed his residency in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center from 2017 to 2020, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Bridgeport Hospital from 2020 to 2023.

Having achieved triple board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine, Dr. Kapil’s clinical acumen and dedication to his field are evident. He is a proud Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a testament to his commitment to upholding the highest standards of medical practice.
