  • Can acupuncture help with a chronic cough?

    Acupuncture can possibly help the cough and/or your tolerance of having an ongoing cough, it is worth at try. Acupuncture points which may be helpful, depending on your presentation, may include lung points (lung 1, lung 5, etc) , digestion points including spleen or stomach points, and possible kidney points. Other acupuncture points can be helpful too. Chronic conditions can take longer for a response vs. acute so keep this in mind.   • How long do the effects of an acupuncture treatment last?

    Effects can vary with each person and health concern. In general for many pain related complaints, improvement should be noticeable after 1 to 4 treatments and often lasting longer after each treatment.
