Get to know Dr. Anna F. Piotrowski, who serves patients in New York, New York.

Dr. Piotrowski is a neuro-oncologist serving New York, New Jersey and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center is one of 50 National Cancer Institute–designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, with state-of-the-art science flourishing side by side with clinical studies and treatment.

Dr. Piotrowski completed a residency in neurology at Stony Brook University Medical Center and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Johns Hopkins University.

Neuro-oncology is a healthcare profession dealing with cancers of the nervous system. As a neuro-oncologist, Dr. Piotrowski collaborates with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, and scientists to deliver state-of-the-art treatment to people with neurofibromatosis, glioblastoma, astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma, and central nervous system metastases.

With over 10 years of experience in the field, Dr. Piotrowski has treated hundreds of patients. She currently serves as the Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Neurology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is involved in translational research to investigate new approaches to cancer therapeutics.
