Following the completion of her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011, Dr. Kao completed her training starting with her internship year at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine at their Vineland, New Jersey residency program. Having been granted full credit for her internship year, Dr Kao completed her residency in internal medicine in the same program changing their name to Inspira her third year.
A Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI), she is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
