Having accumulated over 20 years of experience, she possesses a vast and comprehensive background in gastroenterology and hepatology. Her work has been primarily centered in the hospital setting, including renowned institutions such as Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, Methodist Hospital Houston, CHI St. Luke Epicopal Hospital, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, as well as Good Shepherd Medical Center. After some time, between 1996 and 1998, Nina attended The University of Texas Medical Branch and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she had a 20+ year career as a certified athletic trainer.
