Alpine Anesthesia is a group of board-certified anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists with years of experience providing the highest quality hospital-based and office-based anesthesia in Nevada and Utah. In regards to his educational background, Dr. Esquenazi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein – Montefiore Medical Center.

An authority in his field, Dr. Esquenazi is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. On a professional level, Dr. Esquenazi is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Nevada Society of Anesthesiologists.

Anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during, and after surgery. It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine. Anesthesiologists have the primary responsibility of monitoring the patient’s vital signs during surgery. In addition to basic measurements such as pulse, blood pressure, and temperature, they measure the patient’s respiration.
