In regards to his educational background, Dr. Esquenazi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein – Montefiore Medical Center.

An authority in his field, Dr. Esquenazi is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine.
