Carly Sorensen is an acupuncturist practicing in New York City. Ms. Sorensen evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of Eastern Asian Medicine. She asseses the individual based on their specific physical and emotional needs, in order to identify the imbalances hidden beneath. Addressing these imbalance will bring the body and spirit into a state of harmony. The placement of fine needles into specific points on the body, stimulates the natural ability for our nervous system to regulate itself. This function addresses the needs of physcial, orthopedic pain, stress, anxiety, mood disorders, digestive imbalances, women's health, fertility, preganancy and much more. While Ms. Sorensen addresses the above mentioned states of dis-ease, her practice of Acupuncture, Herbal therapy, Cupping, Gua-Sha, Breath Work and Facial Rejuvenation promote healing and wellness at many levels.     

Carly Sorensen was an apprentice under various Acupuncturists and holistic doctors in New York since 2012. She has worked in pain management clinics, women's health and fertility clinic as well as a family owned practice for general wellness. Ms. Sorensen has traveled to China, Thailand, Vietnam and Costa Rica to learn, practice and expand her knowledge and skills in the science and art of holistic medicine.

  • Carly has always been interested in acupuncture. Her parents brought her to an acupuncturist at a young age. In High School, Carly had a concussion and was healed naturally by acupuncture.Carly attributes her success to her love of what she does, her passion, her love of helping people, and her love of learning.
