Experienced Physician Assistant Expands Access to Quality Dermatology and Skin Care Services in Texas

U.S. Dermatology Partners is thrilled to celebrate the ongoing contributions of Pamela Murray, PA-C, a Certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years of valuable experience in general and cosmetic dermatology, as well as skin cancer services, at its Plano, Texas location. With a deep commitment to patient care and education, Pamela is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients by treating a variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions.

Pamela graduated summa cum laude from Northwest Louisiana University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She further honed her expertise by completing her physician assistant training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she amassed over 2,000 hours of patient care in dermatology. Graduating with honors in August 2002, Pamela was also elected to the prestigious Alpha Eta Honor Society, recognizing her academic excellence and dedication to the profession.

Before relocating to Texas, Pamela made significant contributions to the field of dermatology while working in Nashville. There, she specialized in both internal medicine and clinical and cosmetic dermatology, conducting numerous clinical studies for major pharmaceutical companies aimed at advancing treatments for acne vulgaris. 

Pamela’s extensive clinical experience, coupled with her passion for dermatology, ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Her involvement in these organizations reflects her commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in dermatological care and continuing her professional development.

On a personal note, Pamela enjoys her life in Frisco, Texas, where she balances her professional responsibilities with being a devoted mother to her four wonderful children.
