Dr. Destine is a general practitioner in Miami, Florida. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the North Broward Technical Center in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The purpose of the North Broward Technical Center is to prepare nursing-student candidates in basic sciences to meet the changing and increasing workforce development needs in the healthcare industry. The Center’s mission is to provide a quality education to nursing candidates to help them develop a foundation for success as healthcare professionals who are caring, culturally sensitive, and competent critical thinkers.

Dr. Destine received his medical degree from ELAM (Latin American School of Medicine) Cuba in 2012. He then went on to receive his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health in 2018. He is currently studying to earn his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (expected year of graduation – 2021).
Dr. Destine is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Preventive Medicine, the National Medical Association, Doctors for America, the American Medical Association, the American Diabetes Educators, the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad, and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research.
