A graduate of the Medical University of Lublin in Poland, he relocated to the United States to complete his residency in internal medicine at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans. Before long, he became board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
