Well-versed in the field of child & adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Hodas sees patients at his private practice in Scarsdale, New York. He treats those who suffer from conditions such as depression, schizophrenia, ADD/ADHD, and more.

Back in 1961, he graduated with his medical degree from New York Medical College. Completing his internship at US Public Health Service Hospital, he went on to complete two residencies in psychiatry at Manhattan Psychiatric Center and Hillside Hospital. Finally, he completed his fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Child and adolescent psychiatrists advocate for the mental health, educational and care needs of young people as well as the prevention of disorder and distress and promotion of emotional well- being.
