Benton Kinney, PA-C, a highly regarded Certified Physician Assistant specializing in psychiatry, proudly serves as the Owner, CFO, and Vice President of North American Mental Health Services (NAMHS) in Redding, California. Since co-founding the organization with Dr. Thomas Andrews in 2011, Kinney has been at the forefront of providing high-quality mental health care that promotes health and wellness for individuals, families, communities, and nations.

NAMHS has established itself as a beacon of hope and support, partnering with mental health agencies and Native American communities to ensure comprehensive and culturally sensitive care. The dedicated team of therapists, psychiatrists, and mental health support staff at NAMHS is committed to the wellness of their patients, offering personalized therapy and psychiatric services tailored to the unique needs of Native American populations throughout California.

With a workforce of over 150 employees, NAMHS has expanded significantly over the years, operating a growing number of behavioral health clinics across the state. In addition to in-person services, NAMHS is proud to offer online therapy and TelePsych services, ensuring that mental health support is accessible to all patients, regardless of location. Currently, NAMHS provides in-office psychiatry and psychotherapy to patients in several key locations, including Redding, Monterey, Woodland, Fairfield, Eureka, and Salinas.

Kinney’s dedication to mental health care extends beyond NAMHS. He is also the Owner of Psychiatric Services North West, where he provides both onsite and remote psychiatry services across the Greater Northwest territories. His extensive background, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mountain State University in 2001, further equips him with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead and innovate in the mental health sector.
