Nicole Garey is a surgical physician assistant who has worked closely, collaboratively and autonomously, with orthopedic surgeons across almost every orthopedic subspecialty, in evaluating and treating patients. Currently, Nicole works with Dr. Luis Grau ar Hudson Orthopedic Pain & Spine in Secaucus, NJ. Her surgical first assist experience primarily includes, but not limited to, total joint arthroplasties, sports medicine surgery, hand surgery, and orthopedic trauma with proficiency in the intricacies of the operating room and autonomous surgical wound closures from the level of the arthrotomy up. Competency and experience includes orthopedic acute care assessing and diagnosing new patients, post-ops, and follow-ups as well as performing intra-office and hospital based bedside procedures. When Nicole is not in the operating room, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, snowboarding and live music.
