Dr. Xuan Huang is a triple board certified physician in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. She has been practicing medicine for the past decades. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Division of Hematology and Oncology of Department of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She has extensive experience as a hematologist and medical oncologist and has dedicated herself to the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic disorder, cancer and cancer-related conditions for the communities of northeast Ohio. She is a member of American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and has been certified by AAAM to practice Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Huang is also an active member of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American College of Physicians (ACP), and American Med Spa Association. Dr. Huang received her Ph.D degree in 2006 and has authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well well-cited book chapters. She frequently speaks at community symposium such as Women’s Expo, Bra for a cause, and national forum and has served as panelist in national conferences. She has served on Cancer Committee and Breast Cancer Committee at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center for the past many years.
Dr. Huang deeply understand the needs of local community and that of the people lives in the community. She has established the Geauga Seidman Cancer Center Patient Support Fund aiming to support patient who is in need to get through the journal of cancer treatment. To date, many patients who comes to Geauga Medical Center for care has benefit tremendously from this fund. Dr. Huang is a recipient of Patients’ Choice Award by Vitals.com. The doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
A 2006 graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Huang went on to complete her observership in hematology/oncology at Westchester Medical Center. This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at Richmond University Medical Center in 2009, a fellowship in hematology at the National Heart, Lung, And Blood Institute in 2011, and a fellowship in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute in 2012.
At present, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Division of Hematology and Oncology of the Department of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is also an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, the American Med Spa Association, and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (of which she is certified to practice aesthetic medicine).
Among her various achievements, Dr. Huang has authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as cited book chapters.
