Dr. Ryan Farmer is an anesthesiologist practicing at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Educated in the United States, he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University in 2005, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and a diverse skill set. Following this, he pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 2011, showcasing his dedication to continuous learning and growth in his chosen field.
In 2012, Dr. Farmer achieved the prestigious title of Medical Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, marking the beginning of his illustrious career in the medical field. His dedication to education and training led him to complete his Preliminary Medicine Training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita in 2015, further enhancing his expertise in patient care and medical practices.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, he completed his residency at the University of Missouri in 2018, solidifying his specialization in anesthesiology and critical care. His passion for teaching and mentorship was recognized when he assumed the role of Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri Health Care in February 2023.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
