How long do the effects of acupuncture last?
There are so many factors that can contribute to how long the effects will last. Usually the first treatment people feel better for a day or two and then symptoms creep back. Headaches can be caused by many things. If it's a tension HA and you are actively going through a really tough time, it will be a while. For most situations, we'll have a really good idea of what's going on and a significant reduction of symptoms with 3 treatments. READ MORE
How many sessions of acupuncture do I need?
That is a great question! It's very hard to say up front how long it will take to get back to president injured status. Age, chronicity, lifestyle, and other factors all play a role. I ask for 3 treatments to see results. We should both have a really good idea of how things are going and have a better idea of what is appropriate for you at that time.
