A board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Nguyen has been treating children, teenagers and adults in Northern Virginia since 1994. Feeling everyone is capable of a brilliant smile, she works hand in hand with the patient’s general dentist to enhance both their smile and function at Dental One Associates.
Since 1977, the Fairfax dentists at Dental One Associates of Woodson Square have been providing minimally invasive dental services that help put patients at ease. They offer comprehensive general dental services, including oral cancer screenings, professional teeth cleanings, and preventive care such as sealants and fluoride. They also offer sports mouth guards, night guards, and oral appliance treatment for sleep apnea. Cosmetic services are provided as well, from crowns, bridges, veneers and full mouth restoration to in-office and take-home teeth whitening.

At the start of her academic career, Dr. Nguyen graduated with honors from the Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1988. After completing these undergraduate studies, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 1992.
Upon graduation, she was elected into the most prestigious dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She then completed her specialty training in orthodontics at Temple University and also completed a postdoctoral Master of Science in Dentistry degree in 1994.
Over the years, Dr. Nguyen has been providing outstanding orthodontic care as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also certified in Invisalign® treatment, which is the best and only non-visible form of removable orthodontic therapy.
To stay on the cutting edge of her field, she maintains active membership in such prestigious professional organizations as the American Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the National Board of Orthodontics, the Virginia Association of Orthodontists, and the Temple School of Dentistry Alumni Association.
