Bringing Expertise and Compassion to Patient Care

An accomplished internist with a diverse background in medicine and public health, Dr. Jenkins works with patients at Optum Internal Medicine - Mount Kisco in New York.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Mount Kisco community and surrounding areas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana in 2007 and furthered his education at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, where he earned his graduate degree in 2009. He then pursued his medical education at Howard University College of Medicine, graduating in 2014. Dr. Jenkins completed his residency at the same institution in 2017, where he honed his skills in internal medicine and developed a patient-centered approach to care.

As a board-certified physician by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jenkins is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. 

Among his other roles, he is affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital, where he collaborates with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. His dedication to patient well-being and advocacy for health education make him a valuable asset to the Optum Internal Medicine team.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Jenkins enjoys exploring the local area, trying new restaurants, and fishing. As someone new to the region, he looks forward to discovering the hidden gems of New York while engaging with the community.
