His expertise enhances the already robust capabilities of the Heart Center, which serves patients from various locations, including the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic in Rio Grande City, Driscoll Children’s Medical Plaza in McAllen, and specialty centers in Laredo and Victoria.

Since its inception in 1953, Driscoll Children’s Hospital has provided leading pediatric care and healing for millions of children across South Texas. Today, the Driscoll Children’s Heart Center continues the mission of delivering cardiac services that surpass any pediatric heart program with a team of highly skilled, interdisciplinary specialists equipped with the experience, technology, and compassion to care for the most complex pediatric heart conditions.

A 2000 graduate of Osmania Medical College in India, Dr. Yarrabolu completed his residency at Andhra Medical College before relocating to the United States. He further honed his skills during his pediatrics residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, followed by prestigious fellowships in pediatric cardiology and pediatric interventional cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, Dr. Yarrabolu holds multiple esteemed affiliations, including a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
