Acupuncturist
516 Princess St Wilmington NC, 28401About
Kyler was introduced to and fascinated by alternative medicine as a child when she would go to the acupuncturist with her stepmom. She was able to see first-hand her stepmom thrive with Multiple Sclerosis by living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Kyler’s practice focuses on promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She works with patients to discover the root of the problem by looking at the body-mind-spirit connection and lifestyle factors that contribute to the disharmony that leads to pain and disease. She aims to help patients reconnect with the body-mind-spirit connection using the treatment modalities offered with Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, dietary advice, meditation and movement techniques.
Kyler emphasizes patient education and physiological understanding of the body to combine ancient East Asian wisdom with today’s superior understanding of the human body and how it works. She meets her patients where they are in their health journey and helps guide them to achieving their health and personal goals.
Kyler received her four year Master’s Degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago. She is nationally board certified and holds acupuncture licenses in Illinois and North Carolina. She is an active member of the National Guild of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Some of her areas of expertise include hormonal and reproductive health, digestive issues, pain management, stress and anxiety, fatigue, allergies, migraines and headaches, and internal medicine.
